HOUSTON TRIATHLON OPEN WATER TRAINING LAKE

To All Houston Gulf Coast area Triathletes and Open water swimmers. Looking for a Triathlon open water training lake or area for running and biking in Houston? Lake Longhorn offers one of the largest open water swimming- training lakes on the entire Texas Gulf Coast. Lake Longhorn is a perfect place to enhance your distance swimming as well as long-distance runs and bike riding. Lake Longhorn is a 49-acre premier swimming lake for your long distant swim needs as well as courses for beginner swimmers, and advanced swimmers to help with all the swim programs. Lake Longhorn is located in the heart of League City, Texas where you can train in the morning or evening time. We have swimmers who travel from the Woodlands, Sugarland, Pearland, Baytown, Galveston, Kemah and Lake Jackson. We offer plenty of parking and a pavilion or open space to host any size half Iron Man Event. Call us for details as Lake Longhorn serves Houston's Gulf Coast Swimmers and athletes for training.

Lake entry fee is $10.00, please check-in at the lake office, and remember to bring your personal swim buoy.
